Sobinov Monument

This is the monument to the famous Russian tenor Leonid Sovinov. He was born in Yaroslavl and spent here the first 20 years of his life. It was him who had createdthe image of some lyric opera characters, for example, the image of  Lensky in “Yevgeni Onegin” by Tchaikovsky. The monument stands opposite the main concert hall, named after Sobinov.
