Church of Elijah the Prophet

This is the real pearl of Yaroslavl architecture of  the 17^th century. It was constructed in 1650 on the sponsorshipof two merchants – brothers Skripin and contains a wonderful iconostasis and frescoes of the period. The church is situated in the centre of Sovetskaya square.
